Two aerial views of the Pollards Hill estate taken around 1952. The prefabs which were demolished in the 1960's can be clearly seen, while the four blocks of maisonettes are in various stages of construction. These too have now been demolished and houses in their place. The oval at the end of the blocks was later a children's playground.
